The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 83.85 points up at 25874.8, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 167.89 points at 84712.2 at around 11:25AM.
Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(up 2.76%), State Bank of India(up 2.63%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(up 2.54%), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(up 2.01%), Bajaj Auto Ltd.(up 1.95%), HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd.(up 1.62%), SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd.(up 1.58%), Bharti Airtel Ltd.(up 1.48%), Adani Enterprises Ltd.(up 1.37%) and Coal India Ltd.(up 1.34%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Eicher Motors Ltd.(down 1.66%), ICICI Bank Ltd.(down 1.61%), HCL Technologies Ltd.(down 1.17%), Infosys Ltd.(down 1.1%), Wipro Ltd.(down 1.07%), LTIMindtree Ltd.(down 1.01%), IndusInd Bank Ltd.(down 0.89%), Tech Mahindra Ltd.(down 0.87%), Larsen & Toubro Ltd.(down 0.73%) and Asian Paints Ltd.(down 0.66%) were trading in the red.
